Private Fully Fenced Yard in Kirkland

Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!

WINTER 2024 UPDATE: The wetland in the pasture is filling up with the rains and can get to be 1-2 feet deep. Bring a towel to dry off your dog! WATER/HOSE -- We have a hose available for use * upon request * we must be home to turn the water on, please message us if you would like the water turned on and we will do our best to accommodate. -------- Two adjacent and connected pasture fenced yards totaling almost one acre including mixed long grass/dirt/wild flowers, beautiful old trees and sloped terrain above and below. No known hazards aside from hilly terrain and some blackberry brambles (we are diligently fighting them). In rainy months Nov-April there is a shallow pond/wetland (bring a towel). Fencing is all new 5' agricultural fencing secure for dogs of all sizes. Enjoy the serene space with a creek just beyond the fencing. Many songbirds too! Upper pasture features a playset with slides and swings. Two benches for sitting. Maybe not suitable for very tiny dogs due to eagles/ hawks. Private!!! Closed toed shoes recommended as well as mosquito repellent in summer especially at dawn and dusk. Hose may be available with advanced notice. **NEW** Sniffspot 2 We now have two spots available; we’ve opened a new one we are calling “Spot #2” that is located in the front pasture. This space should experience far less standing water and mud during the winter months. It also features a covered area and picnic table for your use. It is closer to May Valley so does have more road noise. If your pup likes to splash, feel free to use “Spot #1” as usual. If you’d prefer a cleaner experience, Spot #2 should provide that. There’s no difference in booking, just that you can pick which spot you’d like. We may at times need to close one or the other due to standing water or maintenance, but there should always be one spot open. We are working to ensure all amenities of spot 1 are available. Spot 1 *fall/winter update* We are working to get the heavy mud under control, this may take a few weeks. Please bring boots and be prepared for dirty dogs. We have various levels of flooding during the winter; the spot has is anticipated to have mud and large puddles. At times we may need to close the spot due to excessive flooding (no dry land!). Please reach out if you have questions about how much water is in the spot. Keep in mind we also have increased migratory waterfowl in the pasture adjacent. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens.
