55This Sniffspot is perfect! My dogs have the best time here, they are busy from the moment we get out of the car. They love the groomed trails in the woods and the open field- lots to sniff here. There is sun and shade. If you have a reactive dog you will love the privacy here. Highly recommend.Rebecca C.

55We visited again because we love the grassy areas and the trails, and not a criticism of the host, but a note for others to be aware, there may be wild animal poop on the property: our puppy was rolling around in what I thought was merely grass but upon closer inspection, deer poop was what she was rolling around in. 55Lots of room for our pup (and us) to explore and run. Open grassy areas as well as trails and a great view. Loved it and our dog appreciated being off leash! We will definitely be back.S S.

55Our girls enjoyed themselves today, loads to explore and smell. Always clean from feces each time we visit, not always the case in some of the other spots we rent. Courtney C.

55This was a great spot for my three dogs to get their energy out! Nice big field to play some long games of fetch in and some trails for a nice cool down walk. My dogs absolutely loved it and all three got to spend time free and doing what they love. The directions to the house were very clear and useful. Jordyn C.

55Loved this spot! Huge meadow that is really quiet, the only noise was a neighbor doing some sort of saw work in the distance. There's a lot of natural barriers around the field, clear signage, and a path down to. Didn't hear any dogs, but saw a dog through the window on the way down, dogs can't be seen from the parking spot down to the spot when I went.
After a certain point the road is gravel with some potholes/divets but they're easy enough to drive around. Sam W.

55Nicest trails and hill climbs in the area. Always a blast watching the pups run amok. We get in training sessions and play at the same time. 10/10Kristen D.

FAQ About Sumner Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Sumner area are 5 stars.
