Every other sniffspot I’ve been to, it kinda looks like the host just half@$$ed threw something up real quick so they could claim their spot’s fully fenced, so I really appreciate the effort on that from this host! Great spot! Exactly what we expected and was as advertised! Sarah gave us a heads up about dogs on the neighbor property which I really appreciated as I have a reactive dog. This was a great Sniffspot for my pups to run around! There is a friendly neighbor dog on the right side of the property behind the livestock fence that does come out every once in a while to see what’s going on. If your dog is reactive but has good recall you can absolutely stay on the left side of the property and avoid ever seeing the dog. Alternatively, if you do wander over to that side, he is not aggressive and might initiate play across the fence but this play is easily interruptible if your dog has recall. We had plenty of room to play fetch in and outside of the middle field. We will come back!

55It was very secure and had a well maintained broad path around the field. Sarah was fantastic! Wonderful communication and clear instructions about where to park and enter the field. Host communicated extremely well on what to expect, and it still surpassed our expectations! My curious little cattle dog found a gap in the gate just big enough that she could sneak thru when I was distracted, but the gap was too small for her big brother to even be tempted to try, and the property was setup in a way where there were still plenty of fence lines to distract her from going towards the paved farm road - not a concern for my girl with decent recall. We appreciated the easy access to water and plenty of room to run around. Can't wait to see this spot during spring wildflowers!

There are some neighboring animals (a couple of dogs, cows, horses, and goats), but they are all friendly. Tucker loved to run around, and there is plenty of room to throw his frisbee. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
