My dogs loved their time this morning! This Spot along the water is nice, peaceful, and private. Well maintained, with plenty of room to run and play fetch or swim. There are some stairs to access the area, but they are sturdy with a railing so not at all an issue for us or the pups- just something for others to be aware of. We will definitely return!
55Beautiful shady spot by the water with a big enough area to get the zoomies out. He had a great time sniffing along the water line but didn’t get in. We brought our paddle board though and paddled on the water for a little while until it started to rain. Fortunately a canopy was provided! Thank you! We had a great time.Michelle P.

55Loved our time at this magical river front sniff spot! My lil water babies loved swimming and running in the long stretch of mostly flat grass. The bank does have some rocks and roots from the beautiful trees but they managed to get out of the water easily. I jumped in and swam around with them as well! Looked like some harmless algae on some of the rocks around the bank, not the gloppy, nasty blue-green toxic algae. Just my opinion, I’m no scientist! I brought fresh water for my dogs to drink just in case! The area is nice and shaded. Stairs were quite steep to get to the river area so keep in mind for dogs with mobility issues. Loved our time at this magical river front sniff spot! My lil water babies loved swimming and running in the long stretch of mostly flat grass. The bank does have some rocks and roots from the beautiful trees but they managed to get out of the water easily. I jumped in and swam around with them as well! Looked like some harmless algae on some of the rocks around the bank, not the gloppy, nasty blue-green toxic algae. Just my opinion, I’m no scientist! I brought fresh water for my dogs to drink just in case! The area is nice and shaded. Stairs were quite steep to get to the river area so keep in mind for dogs with mobility issues. Shelby was so accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

55Wonderful spot to let your dogs dip their toes in the water! So quiet and peaceful with lots of open space for them to run. Some spots are a little steep and require your dog to know how to swim but there are also more shallow areas for them to walk into. We will definitely be coming back- our dogs loved the water! My puggle stayed on a 30ft leash since he has no recall and will run away but my lab mix ran to her heart’s content. There was a large area to the left that looked like a public space and we saw people in the far distance so we stayed close to the property. There was plenty of space for the dogs to run and explore. My lab went for a swim and the water was clear and did not smell. It was serene and peaceful. I’d definitely recommend! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
