55We had an amazing time at The Sensory Park! The trail and park decor were so creative and fun—it’s clear a lot of thought went into every detail. My dogs had the best time exploring the pool, ball pit, tree house, and giant tires. They didn’t want to leave!
The park had everything we needed—fresh water, towels, toys, and even bug spray. The host was incredibly kind and left a sweet surprise for my pups, which was such a thoughtful touch.
This place is truly a hidden gem. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to play and humans to relax. We’ll definitely be back!Taylour W.

55This place is a blessing! Leila had so much fun running around jumping off the tree house, playing in the bone pool, and jumping in the ball pit! At dog parks she usually lays down within 5 minutes, not here she was running and playing for almost 2 hours. The ambiance is great my son enjoyed himself as well!Kara W.

55My dog had a great time! Originally, I thought an hour would be too long and he would get bored, however, there was so much to do that I wish we had booked for longer! He really enjoyed playing with all of the toys and having an enclosed space to run around. Lauren W.

55Really cute spot, lots of room to run and fun things to sniff.
The only thing is it’s not fully fenced in. There’s a large gap on the side where the stairs go around to the front of the building and there’s a very busy street nearby so if you have a runaway or nonresponsive dog, be careful. They could probably easily close little part in. Erica A.

FAQ About Augusta Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 85% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Augusta area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 68 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 153 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
