55Great find! Perfect Sniffspot for dogs that love to play in the water! We weren’t sure if we’d take our dogs off of their leashes but once we got to the stream, they were so obsessed with running and splashing in the water that we weren’t worried. They played in the same spot for a whole hour! The host was very helpful and answered all of my questions before we arrived. The Sniffspot is marked with a sign (see pictures) and the trail to the stream is marked with little red arrow signs. The spot is secluded and private which was perfect for our fearful dog. I have two senior dogs and a young energizer bunny and they all have gotten so much happier and more relaxed since we started coming here. For the senior dogs, it’s like physical therapy! My dogs get to zoom/swim/climb/sniff to their heart's content, and I get to enjoy an hour reading outdoors while the birds call and the creek babbles. Oasis - Private Dog Park In Stockbridge | Sniffspot
55David’s oasis is such an accurate description of his SniffSpot. Our pup absolutely loved running through the open yard and even played with his husky for a bit. There is a pool available but has steep steps so may be difficult to swim for older dogs or those that are nervous to jump in. David was so kind and provided ice cold waters and a blanket when he noticed we were sitting on the yard. I highly recommend this hidden gem, the yard is especially fantastic for fetch!Sarah S.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
