This private oasis has many amenities to entertain dogs. There is a wooded area with walking paths, downed trees to climb and jump on, and benches in the shade to rest. There are several areas for those dogs that love to dig. Plenty of room to run or chase each other. A sand pit for burying that treasured bone. A kiddie pool for cooling off on those hot days. For fur parents, there is a second floor deck you are welcome to rest on to view the gorgeous sunset or sit by the fire pit. Take advantage of the multiple fruits growing on the property, including peaches, apples, mulberries, raspberries, and blackberries. One acre grassy field fronting the peaceful Big Elk Creek. Easy access to the stony beach at the water’s edge. Lightly travelled road with one-lane bridge. Steep hills on either side help discourage roaming. Creek is stocked with trout. During first two weeks of trout season, creek is well populated with fishermen/women but they seldom bring dogs. Otherwise, there are occasional visitors to this area. Great spot for pups and kids to run, swim and explore. Peace and tranquillity for all to enjoy.

What I love about the yard is you can pretty much see the entire area from anywhere you stand so it makes for more relaxing and less worrying when your dog is out of sight. Welcome to our backyard! You would never know it from the street but behind my house is a hidden gem in the city. It is fully fenced and dogs large and small cannot escape. It has multiple areas to sniff and things to look at. For 3/4 of the year we are beautifully shaded. Dogs can run hang out but mostly they just love to sniff.

1700s Historic Home with 10 acres. The North East river borders one side to run and play, and the railroad line runs along the other side but is fenced. Rabbits, groundhogs, and squirrels are plentiful! Field mowed area in some spots, so not all lawn cut grass at this time. It is mowed regularly but may be of varying heights throughout the summer. Woods are available to walk through; however, no trails are available yet (coming soon!). Privacy in the backyard, may see occasional joggers or fishermen on the street out front. Circular driveway is good for laps. The fenced portion of the yard is only for advance approved usage by very young or small dogs. Please keep dogs off of front porch; Gazebo is available for shade or inclement weather. Sniffspot tote is located under the gazebo in a teal tote. Please leave dirty bowls and towels outside of bin for cleaning.
