55Rachele and this gorgeous Sniff Spot are truly the absolute best! This was my dog, Bernice, and my first time ever using a Sniff Spot and we struck gold when we found Rachele and her place. Rachele is so kind, responsive, and hospitable. My pup has lived with a lot of fear, anxiety, and reactivity in her life because her first two homes, the people were neglectful and unkind to her. She is such a sweet girl, but she is really afraid of new people and any other dogs. This was such a relaxing oasis for us and for me to get to see Bernie off leash for the first time. I loved exploring with her here, and I also got to sit by the peaceful, shallow stream while she explored on her own, too. She has had the biggest smile on her face and now she is conked out from having the best day here. She’s all curled up and sleeping peacefully now. Thank you, truly, Rachele and family, for your kindness and sharing your beautiful place with us! And for the sweet note and delicious homemade dog treat in the mailbox when we got there. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
