Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Southfield, MI

Koda absolutely loved this spot. He’s a high energy GSD x husky mix and he couldn’t even last 40 minutes. So much room to play and the back of the park has a wooded area that he got to roam. Perfect spot to help him build confidence away from me and explore on his own while being safe!

We had a great time at this spot! My dogs enjoyed sniffing around and the natural elements of nature. This is a great place to be even on a hot day because of the shaded trees. This location was easy for us to get to and no hassle street parking. A serene space for the dogs and me. We will definitely return. Attached are the pictures of the dogs after returning home and receiving a snack after the visit. FYI, if your dog is a jumper be cautious because the fence is short and we did see two deers having a good day as well!

Secure and fun and clean. We got our much needed zoomies out. Will add this spot to my favorites when visiting the area.

Yard was freshly mowed and clean. Some water, treats and toys provided. Host was very gracious in allowing me to push back my time at the last minute. There were other dogs present for a short while behind the yard. There is barrier netting in place but my dog who is reactive noticed them. Overall we had a good time.

We forgot our (dog) water. Our mistake for sure. The only thing that would make this spot even better would be a kiddie pool or just access to a hose :)

Very sweet male boxer mix next door. I was worried how my reactive girl would do but they ended up having fun running the fence together. Lots of variety in the yard- trees, brush, grass etc. My dog also loved the two jolly balls in the yard! We will return.

Burton had a great time exploring here - as always! We saw dogs in other yards but they were not a problem at all. Perfect run around time for our reactive husky boy. Thank you!!!

Our dogs loved exploring! The fence was secured and there was a lot of open space for our pets. It was very private and quiet. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This sniff spot was so nice! The owners were so accommodating, there are poop bags, dog toys, multiple areas to sit. The dogs loved it, we brought 4, two Goldens and two little chihuahuas. They had the best time! Thank you guys for having us!

This was our first time using Sniffspot, and what a great experience we had! My dog Tater Tot is a rescue who was abused. It has taken me a long time to get him comfortable taking walks and going to new places. Now he loves to, but he is still very fearful and reactive so we are not able to go to places where he might see other dogs. When we arrived he immediately wanted to explore and sniff, which just shows me how far he has come. There was another dog next door that was outside, and this turned out to be a wonderful thing. At first I was nervous about it. But the other dog was clearly used to visitors and very sweet. He immediately showed he wanted to play, not fight. My dog doesn’t know what to do in these situations and it was amazing to watch him gain a little confidence, take note of the doggy signals he was being given, and just watch him get to be a dog for an hour. He ran up and down the fence playing with his new friend. And with the fence between them for safety they could interact but no one was getting hurt. His whole focus for the hour was on playing with his first friend, and we loved every minute of that. It made my daughter and I teary getting to watch him do doggy things. We will definitely be back, although there is no guarantee his sweet new friend will be outside. :) Look at that smile!

Clean and secure! My boy got his zoomies out. Great hostess. We didn’t even hear her leave ☺️. She put up a screen for the dogs behind her. My dog tried to run the fence a few times but they were not too interested so we went back to our own thing.

My dogs and I loved this place, tons of space to run around and my dogs had so much fun running through all the trees. The neighbors dog did come out, he was very friendly but unfortunately one of my dogs IS dog selective so while my one dog loved it, my other got an attitude. The neighbor was very quick to bring her dog in once we both saw the tension so that was incredibly appreciated.

Spacey area that my dogs loved running around and sniffing everything. I thought it was cute that they had a bucket of stick for the dogs.

Very spacious yard my dog enjoyed exploring. The fence was secure and we felt very comfortable letting him roam free. Great experience!

Great spot! I like that you can pull up to the gate, it makes it very convenient to get in and out of the car. The host is very kind and responsive too!

My dog and I love this spot and its host, Nicole, is wonderful! She goes above and beyond, supplying tons of toys, treats, doggy wipes, and more. It’s clear that Nicole is invested in providing a wonderful experience. She went out of her way to install a privacy screen over the fence and is always thinking of ways to make the spot more enjoyable for the dogs. This spot is always so clean too! I don’t have to be constantly vigilant about where I step to avoid poop.

Our favorite SNIFFSPOT so far! My girl had a blast running and playing in the large area and in the pond! It was exactly as described and we will definitely be back in the future :)

Nice big property for my boy to run and sniff. They even have a woodsy area with a little trail in the back. There are lots of balls and Frisbees to play with and not one landmine to be seen. Trash receptacle for deposits + bags if you forgot your own. Easy in and out of the driveway. Just all around a great visit. I'm looking forward to returning in the spring when everything is its prettiest.
