55About 45 minutes to an hour from Tallahassee but a nice, easy drive. I did get a little lost at the end but the host was very gracious about me being late and I don't think I'll have issues finding it in the future.
There's a large open field that's perfect for running and a wooded trail around the lake. The only area the fence isn't secure is at the gate, but you could easily close the gap by parking your car in front if it. The trail around the lake has a second, interior gate and is fully fenced.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
