PLEASE NOTE there are TWO FENCING SYSTEMS here -- the internal pastures that are fenced in 3 rail white fencing and the perimeter fencing which consists of steel mesh to the ground and large log poles and/or 3 rail fencing with steel mesh down to the ground. The pasture fencing is located INSIDE of the separate property perimeter fencing. If a dog runs under the white interior pasture fencing they are still secured within the perimeter system. * The front gate and a service gate are metal with horizontal rails with 6.5 inches between each rail. Smaller dogs could potentially get out through the rails. A picture of the gate is included in listing photos so that guests can assess whether the gate will be an issue for them so they can determine whether this property will be appropriate for their pup(s). * This property is pretty secluded. Two sides of the property are surrounded by conservation land (woods), one by a quiet neighborhood road (with the only house set back and not visible while on my property) and the fourth (above the house and barn) by 60 acres in two parcels. The neighbors ' horses might be seen in the distance along the upper side of my property and you might hear their dogs barking from several acres away periodically. * Several pastures have covered horse sheds in them that can be used by visitors for shelter from rain or sun. * There is a dog dish for water, a container of water, poop bags and several garbage cans for doggie poop bags! * If you bring additional guests with pups PLEASE make sure they are aware of all information/rules shared in the listing and via message by the host. * Carey Creek runs along the entire south side of the lowest pasture. It is fully useable for guests. it is on my property but outside of our secure fences so if you go out the gates at the bottom of the property to get to the creek you should leash up if your dog has poor recall. * We have access across the road from the property to 1800 + acres with 30 miles of trails on Taylor Mountain (King County Park) so make it a day and come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

The Pups Playground at KCC

A nice half acre corner of our 10 acres set aside for our puppy friends! We have included everything we know our puppy friends love to play with. There is a large piece of playground equipment for fun times, multi-level platforms with two ramps and a tunnel. We have miscellaneous moveable agility equipment available as well as water park stuff like splash pads and kiddie pools. And if that's not enough we also have a Nerf ball launcher as well as a chuckit. There is a dog Hotel on site. But the yards cannot see each other generally. We also have some horses here and we have neighbors who have cows. So there's lots of interesting things to look at here. Right down the road is an adorable town of Wilkinson. There are two restaurants in town that are really fun to order from. While here you can order from Carlson block Pizza, who got Top Knots in the county as being one of the best pizza places. Or check out the Simple Goodness Sisters Deli. They have amazing craft and mock cocktails available along with panini sandwiches and a variety of other things. Stop by and bring them with you so that you can snack and play with your pup or order while you're here and pick them up on your way home so that you have dinner in the car.

Update 1/1/25 Two spots available, your choice! Spot #1 tends to have puddles after heavy rains. It’s wise to bring a towel to wipe down the doggos before you leave. We have reopened spot #2 in the pasture nearest May Valley Road. For the time being, the goats are still in the pen adjacent to spot #2. We moved the birds out and are finishing a new goat area. If you want a cleaner run and don’t mind meeting our goats Bonnie, Clyde, and Grommit, check out spot #2. The goats don’t mind dogs too much, but may try to head butt them through the fence if dogs get too close. If you don’t mind occasional puddles, spot #1 is good for a splashing good time. Remember to bring boots and towels for afterward. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car. We look forward to hosting you and your pup! The fence is fully fenced and private from other neighborhoods. There's two benches and a hammock for sitting, and tons of space for dogs to run around and dig. No pesticides or herbicides used in the yard.

Since the creek has a variable current, it may be best for larger dogs. The pond is ideal for smaller dogs who aren't strong swimmers. Trails began as deer/elk trails but have been improved. There are some small logs and rocks to step over so sturdy shoes are recommended. We make a constant effort tosubdue the blackberries but you may encounter vine strong-willed vines. The leaves that cover the trails in the fall may be a little slippery, so take care. Please avoid the dead tree area. There is a shed with supplies where you park.
