Central Texas Bark Park

The Central Texas Bark Park in Temple, Texas is a fully fenced dog park open from dawn to dusk with periodic closings for maintenance and special events. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and it is recommended that animals be spayed and neutered. This is a secure, welcoming space designed to give both dogs and owners a fun, comfortable visit. Our yard is flat with a big tree to shade some of the yard, but still leaving a lot of room for your pup to sun bathe and play. On side of our fence is chain linked so pets can easily see into the other yards but is secure. The neighbor to our right does have dogs who may bark some, but there is a normal wooden fence and a chain link fence, so they will not be visible. For humans, we will provide a couple lawn chairs so you can relax. If you need any water or a restroom just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

Varied land, pastures, forest, water - our dog loved it for many years, now she’s gone and it’s time to share. There are a few sections. We recommend you drive all the way down the driveway for the best access to the large pond and trails through the woods. Off the driveway there are trails through the ravines, and up on the front is some nice pasture to explore. Fully fenced and safe! Come enjoy the sights and smells.

It is a doggy paradise. Just ask out 2 border collies and their friends. We have 5 acres with multiple fenced areas. Currently when you book you get the fully fenced front acreage. There is also a large pond for the water loving dogs but it is not fully secure. (POND IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR PLAY DUE TO DROUGHT) We do also have horses, chickens and cats so we do ask that your pup be a good neighbor and not chase anyone but their own balls, frisbees or other toys.
