A beautiful fenced-in 5 acre parcel with hills, a few trees, areas of short and tall grass. Dogs absolutely love it here. Occasionally we’ll see wild turkeys and a few deer (and a gopher or squirrel here and there) but otherwise a dog roaming paradise. Easy to pull in and park (near the empty barn) and there are several shady spots around property. I have a dog bowl, some treats and a few balls but also acquiring some more toys. My WiFi extends to a few areas outside the house but cell reception is fine here.

Book the 3pm time slot as I rent the field out to a dog walker who leaves with many cars of dogs around 230pm or slightly thereafter, so that you do not cross paths with one another. Optional pool access for people can be purchased as an Extra, by the hour and by the person. The pool is unheated except by the sun/air. We love all dogs and welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes and hair types to visit; however we can only offer pool access for non-shedding pups, as long hair and fur was unfortunately causing damage to the pool equipment; If you are booking for more than one non-shedding dog swimming or for longer than an hour, please message us with info about your dog(s) and we will create an extra for you for the number of dogs you have swimming. Most visitors find the lawn size ample for running around and throwing a ball a bit, but if you are looking for a field to throw a tennis ball as far as you possibly can with a Chuck-it, the yard is not really the right size and shape for that, sorry! **** Please arrive on time and please book a minimum of 30 minutes in advance. This spot is only to be booked between 8am and 7pm daily. No booking before or after those hours. Also please only 2 human guests max with the dogs. Thank you!*** Great yard with 6ft fence all around it in West Oakland. Perfect for hanging out or training with your dog or letting him or her roam free for an hour (or more!) while you get things done. Completely secured with extra gate between font and backyard. All breeds and dogs of any size are welcome but please leave yard as you found it (broom and trash can provided!) The spot is walking distance to West Oakland Bart station (About 10-12 minute walk). We have neighbors on either side of our home but it’s a very quiet neighborhood overall. Please do note that occasionally you can hear a dog barking from houses in the neighborhood or voices of neighbors enjoying their yard. There are chairs and a coffee table on the patio for your use, if desired, while your dogs explores. A bowl with water and a hose is provided.

Drinking water for animals is provided in various containers throughout the property. Please do not turn on or use any water equipment on our property - we had some serious problems in the past because of this. Please clean up after your dog’s “business”, smile. That’s a mandatory request. Waste bags are provided in a plastic box with other dog’s supplies) and a BROWN garbage can is in the front of the house by the street for your convenience. Thank you!
