This was our first sniff spot and worth the drive. My city girls are old and have never met farm animals before and this was a great enrichment activity. My little one isn’t the most appropriate off leash but she did good off of it 50% of the time. My only concern with them was the ability to go into the sheep’s pens, they stayed out but I had to keep a watchful eye. The gap in that fence is definitely big enough for a dog to slip through. There was no access to the little creek on the backside but that was okay. There are other dogs on the property, they barked but they were inside the kennel and we never saw them. I brought our own water since I didn’t know what to expect. The owner came out to say hello and explained how to get to the pasture. They got tired fast and we didn’t venture over to the pasture but there was plenty to explore and new smells to sniff. This is a working farm, so the cleanliness aspect is exactly what we expected. My girls are old and can’t do our long hikes like we used to so this was a perfect opportunity to be out in nature.

We had the best time at Omar’s! Our dog particularly loved the chickens/turkeys/ducks, definitely thought the sheep were funny looking dogs, and was a bit confused by the horses — such a great enrichment activity with some phenomenal opportunities for sniffing around. The perfect way to get out of the city during a heat wave!

Omar’s place was a great adventure for my dogs. They loved investigating all the farm animals on the property-horses, sheep and chickens-and roaming the grounds. I liked seeing the animals too!

What a great, fully fenced in space! My pup had a great time sniffing, exploring, running and learning about farm animals! If the animals are too much for your pup, there is a separate paddock to help with that distraction. Plenty of shade for hot days. Easy and friendly communication with the hosts, not to mention speedy response times! Recommend and will be returning!

Thanks for hosting! It was my dog’s first time around farm animals and we had so much fun. Initially, he got spooked by the horses popping their heads out of the windows lol. However, the horses were very calm, friendly, and didn’t seem to mind a bit of barking. The grey one kept asking for pets. My dog was able to get used to the horses once he saw me interact with them. He spent the rest of the time checking out all the other animals and rolling around everywhere in the farm. It was a great spot to sniff and socialize. I would love my dog to be neutral and comfortable around horses in the future so this was a great spot!

Super fun spot! The only thing I would recommend for the dog owner to bring a towel if you have a dog who likes to roll in fun things! My dog was in his glory lots of fun things to roll in lol Omar was an excellent communicator and he let me use his hose ;)

A wonderful day exploring the farm! There are horses, chickens, sheep and everything is fenced in. The owners were very nice and gave clear instructions on how to enter the property. We will be back!

Omar's sniff spot was everything the listing said it was and more! Ample space for my dog to roam freely and enjoy all the smells. The entire area is fenced and secured. The animals are enclosed safely and a great opportunity for added enrichment for my dog. The property has dogs who were securely kept in the kennels. We couldn't see them but we could hear them bark every time my pup was close. My dog was perfectly fine with it but for someone who has a reactive dog who might be triggered by the barking it's just something to consider. I will definitely return to Omar's sniffspot!

Certainly a treat to have a fully enclosed area to let our reactive dog explore unleashed! We were visiting from out of state and happily surprised to find a several acre fully fenced sniff spot nearish enough by to visit. Their horse pasture had tons to sniff and plenty of room to roam, but a heads up that a lot of it is somewhat uneven terrain with long tall grasses/plants so I was glad to have been wearing long pants and light hiking shoes to utilize that particular space. The host was super nice and responsive, and understanding of our pup’s excited barking (phew). The owners’ dogs could be heard slightly muffled through kennel building walls as we arrived but not seen at all which our own dog didn’t seem to mind. A very big thank you for sharing your property with people like us!

What a wonderful visit we had to Omar's farm! Our dogs truly enjoyed all the great sniff spots, and the chance to encounter (safely within coops, barns, and pens) the sheep, horses, chickens, and ducks. It was a lovely experience and it was so easy to communicate with Omar before we got there. He even helped us with a pic of the gate so we knew what to look for on the road. Also, as an aside, I probably enjoyed seeing the farm critters as much as the dogs did. LOL! Thanks, Omar!

Overdelivers! Omar's place is easy to find and access, wonderful to explore, well appointed with easy parking, things to see and sniff, areas to hike and play. The place is lovely, the hosts are kind and available, but not intrusive. Lucy and I will definitely be back!

Great spot for adventurous dogs! I have one adventurous and one adventurous-adverse dog. I kept the adventurous-adverse dog on leash since he startles easily. There are sounds from sheep and dogs, if that is a factor for your dog. Lots of sniffing and running to be had makes for sleepy dogs. Thank you for the experience!

We had a great time here! It was a perfect spot for us to practice off leash recall with our beagle and feel safe letting him run around in the woods since the whole property was fenced in. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing spot! Chelsea loved running around, sniff the animals, and rolling in the grass. Super easy to find and very accommodating hosts. We’ll definitely be back!

My dogs loved it! Tons of room to run and lots to sniff. Securely fenced. It was easy to find and the access instructions were detailed. Unfortunately it isn't local to me but I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

My dog had the best time! He romped in leaves, rolled in mud, chased sticks, smelled the animals. Omar’s farm is perfect for the outdoorsy but not off leash-trustworthy pup like my husky mix. We’ll definitely be back.

The place was precisely what we needed for our dog. He got a chance to run free, smell around, and catch some frisbee. Since everything is fenced, we felt safe leaving him unleashed. Our dog is a hunting dog who likes to explore and follow scents -he was able to do this in a large fenced area, so he had fun and we felt safe.

We had a wonderful time at this Sniffspot! The property is quite large, and is extended by a fenced pasture on the side. They have goats, chickens, horses, and other dogs, but they're all securely in their pens and stalls, and our dogs didn't even notice them. After about 40 minutes, our dogs were exhausted from running around, sniffing, and peeing (so much peeing). It was a snoozy trip home for them. We'll certainly be back to this location.

This was certainly an adventure! Our dog was small enough to fit through the openings in the barns so we had to extract her to rescue the poor sheep… There is another fenced area away from the animals and Omar was very responsive and understanding, so I do believe this is a 5 star spot, but perhaps not for our reactive pup 😅
