The fields are beautiful, and the paths are neatly kept and easy to follow!! Lots of space for the dogs to run and explore, and the views are amazing! The little rest shack and seating area had a fridge of drinks and a box of snacks for the pups! The indoor playground could be a spot all on its own! We all had a blast trying to teach the pups agility, and the pool was a refreshing touch and cleaner than anticipated!
The whole area is beautiful, well maintained and clearly well cared for. We are already talking about packing a picnic lunch for our next trip, definitely book longer than an hour!! Lauren P.

There's lots of flat, long spaces if you want to bring a ball to throw. Barbara Ann was great: met us there to show us the way, clear communication before our visit, and (most importantly) was very respectful of how Nora meets new people.
I will definitely be coming back. It's rare to go on an early morning walk in summer and not be harassed by bugs, but that's exactly what we had. A tick check afterwards revealed none of them on me or Nora, either. I recommend wearing waterproof shoes in the morning as the fields and grass get dewy. That's on me for not thinking ahead, though!

Also worth noting that the parking area is shared with a vet clinic; they have poop bags and a garbage can, which is very convenient. On the other hand, if you have a dog-reactive dog you should be aware that there’s a chance you’ll see other animals (you can also see horses from the parking lot). FAQ About Elmvale Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 5% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Elmvale area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
