Kyle’s trail is beautiful and well maintained. Has put a lot of effort into making the experience a great one for every pup that comes. Flynn very much enjoyed his walk, it was our first experience using sniff spot and we will for sure be coming back!

So lovely. Creek that the pups could swim or walk. We walked up the creek as well. Trail muddy but knew that in advance, so no big deal. Who doesn’t get a little messy walking dogs anyway? Only thing to aware of, if you have a low slung vehicle, use caution entering the gate as there is a natural speed bump. (Ask me how I know. 😁). But lovely spot.

This was our favourite spot yet. The river was beautiful and looked very clean, and the trails were lovely and clear. The owners have thought of every detail. There was lots of seating throughout the trail, a dock, and even bug spray, although we didn’t find we needed it. Very scenic, and we all had a great time. Thank you for hosting us at your beautiful property!

Our pups had a blast! Whether running the trail, running in the shallows, or swimming in the beautiful river. There is a lot to explore at Riverside Tails & Trails. If you’ve got a water dog, this sniffspot is a must. Our pups spent more time in the water than they did on land. We will be returning. The host mentions mud. Yes there is some. The pups loved it … until they got home and had a bath. With that warning, probably not the spot for you if your pups have just been groomed. One guarantee: Pups will be happy and will sleep well on the car ride home.

This is a great property and the host Kyle pulls out all the stops for his guests. Throughout the trail there is lots of seating, poop bags and even bug spray. Very thoughtful, a fantastic property and Kyle was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely make the 1 hour trek to visit again!

This spot is an absolute gem! I can vouch for this as a great spot for reactive dogs. You may see wandering chickens or livestock from a distance as you arrive and depart - very manageable for us but worth mentioning in case this would not be manageable for your pup. But once you’re onto the trail itself, it is isolated and gorgeous. Such a beautiful place for a decompression walk. For what it’s worth, my dog loves to run into bushes and grasses and we didn’t encounter any of the burrs other folks mentioned - maybe just lucky, but all the same. Some spots are muddy, but with appropriate footwear, totally manageable. Highly recommend a visit!

Our pups had a great time exploring the trails and splashing around in the river. The trails were well marked and well maintained. Our dogs really enjoyed the shallow water at the end of the trail and spent the majority of our visit romping around while we enjoyed the Muskoka chairs. We were a little unsure how our reactive pup would react to the chickens roaming around. She was definitely excited to see them but it did not create any challenges and they kept their distance. Thank you for sharing your amazing property with us! We look forward to returning soon.

Such a gorgeous spot! Absolutely stunning with the river flowing through it, and the path is very well maintained and groomed. Bins for poop bags are all along the trail, as well as some awesome spots to sit and take in the views. The trail itself takes 10-15 minutes to reach the end at a leisurely pace. Tack on more time to stop and sniff (or sit and relax if you're human). It was a bit chilly out for splashing too much in the river, but it is perfectly shallow with lots of entry points. One thing to note is that the chickens were around where we parked our car. Most scattered, though some hung around and looked at us. Our dog wasn't interested in them when she knew there was adventuring to do, but you may need to walk your dog near them for a moment. Absolutely loved our experience, and we will definitely be back to splash around in the river. Thank you for hosting - it's clear a lot of time, energy, and consideration has been put into this Sniffspot.

This is a really lovely spot, with both a spacious field and a wide trail that winds into the woods next to a pretty creek. Lots of signage throughout, as well as waste bins.

A beautiful walk with lots of spots for the dogs to frolic in the water. Host is thoughtful with lots of spots to sit, throw away your dog poop, and left some bug spray and toys. Be careful of the speed bump coming into the property. I have a car and it bottomed on the way in and out.

When driving in be careful with the speed pump. The trail was nice, lots of garbage bins for poop bags. It was little muddy in few spots so I recommend to wear rubber boots. There is few spots where you can sit and enjoy the nature when you’re dog runs around. Definitely be coming back.
