55This was a fun place! My dogs had some serious zoomies knowing they had so much space to just run free! It was beautiful and peaceful out there! Just a warning...there is a lot of poop out there...deer, rabbit, cows etc. If your dog likes to eat poop or roll in it, this may not be the place for you. I learned one of my dogs loved to roll in it, so I was so appreciative of the pool to be able to rinse her off. LOL! This is definitely dog heaven! I was there at 7:30am and there was no shade. The loafing shed where there would be shade faces east, so with the sun rising, there was no protection. It was cool enough, but I'm not sure I would come much later, as it would get too hot. I'm sure having that shade the second half of the day is very helpful!Heidi G.

The farm is wonderful! My dogs were very entertained with chasing the birds, prairie dogs, seeing the farm animals, and enjoying the sniffs. The land itself is massive and there are plenty of places to explore. The hosts graciously met me outside to help navigate and left water for the dogs and me. We will definitely be back!

55Up front it may seem a little pricey. But there aren't many options close to Lyons and Estes Park. So considering the price of gas, and other options are 20 miles one way and another hour of our time , plus member discount it's all the same. And they have farm animals and farm activities going on. I enjoy the animals more than Scooby I think. I just missed the Alpaca shearing! Usually greeted by one of the owners and very pleasant experience all around. Worth the price of admission. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
