55Really feeling n place. Lot of mowed grass areas and lot of tall grass areas. Cows were close by and entertained by the dogs and vice versa. River was one of the highlights for the dogs. Excellent space! Big enough for some nice long frisbee throws. Pretty even fields (no big holes to worry about). Clearly marked and easy to access.
Our 2 border collies had a great time sniffing and running around both fields. One of the adjacent fields had cattle in it, which we were made aware of ahead of time. This was a great opportunity to allow for some exposure for both my dogs! We'll be back!

My dog and her friends loved all the room to run around! Lots of water for them and sticks to run around with and play. Overall, a great experience! I will say they could crawl under the fence to roam between each field but they never escaped outside of them.

The owner, James, met us at the entrance and there were lots of signs to show the way. We will definitely come back - I imagine it is even more beautiful in the spring. There were outhouses nearby - that was an unexpected touch.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
