We recently visited Lori’s Bellfountain Sniffspot for the first time and enjoyed a fun 2-hour visit. Lori was very welcoming, and provided a written layout of the property. Our dog loved the pond and all the space to run. We appreciated the peaceful surroundings, picnic table and chairs at the pond, the wi-fi and having restrooms available (not used on this visit). We will be back!

This is the second time we’ve been to this Sniffspot. It’s absolutely wonderful!!! It will be a regular treat for me and my two dogs.

Beautiful spot! Meadow, forest and a pond! Perfect spot for my puppy's first swim! Lots to explore. A bit of a drive but it is a pretty drive and felt like a mini-vacation in the middle of the week!

My two dogs and I have visited a number of sniff spots in the last year. The forest in Bellfountain is absolutely the best we’ve ever seen. It has everything and more - forest trails, beautiful creeks, a large pond and great pastures for running. We all had a wonderful time, and look forward to returning soon. And just so you know, I booked for an hour and a half, but we could have easily been there for three hours!

Great spot! Directions were clear and the place was easy to find. Our dog had a great time swimming in the pond, hiking the trails, and running in the pasture. Will definitely be returning.

Our dog had a wonderful afternoon here! The property is beautifully maintained, the pastures and woods are absolutely idyllic. Lori gave us an orientation when we arrived and provided us with a map. This is a really special spot.

Brought my three dogs and had so much fun. Greeted by a very kind host, who had a map of of the trails we could take. The pond was beautiful and the dogs loved playing in it. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic Sniff Spot: Bathroom available at the trailhead, beautiful hilly forested area with hiking trails and sun peeking through the majestic trees and carpet of sword ferns, well-maintained sawdust trail in the valley to the ponds, doggie bags, trash container, clearly marked parking spot, excellent directions and friendly welcoming host (Lori) with a map for me. Awesome experience!

Our three pups had an absolute blast running around and splashing in the pond! Lori was such a wonderful host—she met us at the Sniffspot parking area with a detailed map that guided us through all the amenities. Everything was very clearly marked and exceptionally clean, making it easy to relax and let the dogs enjoy themselves. They had so much fun exploring, and we already can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Winter is just as fun out here! We visited on a rainy day and hiked the forest trails. It was fun to see the creeks/ ponds at higher levels. My pup enjoys water and jumped into the small pond.

What a great location, Beautiful property, perfect for hiking and working off-leash with my dog. The owner is wonderful and it was a large, safe property to enjoy. We will be back!

For our second visit, we explored many of the forest hiking trails. There were plenty of options and all felt easy to follow: some trails were more like old logging roads and some were smaller footpaths. Enough space for my pup to zoom up and down, and check out all the good sniffs. We saw wild turkeys but my pup stayed with me and it wasn’t a big deal for us. Love how peaceful and remote this place is.

This spot is IDEAL! It has a wide open area, forest with trails and even two ponds. The pond is picturesque, with a picnic table and two chairs. My dog was heaven, and so was I.

Our dogs absolutely loved this spot, and we did too! Many thanks to the host for making this land available for dog romping. We’ll be back for sure.

Puppies had a great time. Lots of room to run around, water to play in and a hose when they’re all done!

What a wonderful,large, clean sniff spot. This place is amazing with lots of trails, a swimming hole, and a very large field for playing. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Lori.

The property is lovely - we had a very nice walk, and our dog really enjoyed swimming in the pond. We loved that there were seats in the shade by the pond so we could cool down after our walk while our pup splashed around. Lori's instructions for finding the place were very clear, and everything was so well marked that it was obvious where to park, where the washroom was, and where to dispose of trash. She was really accommodating when we were unavoidably held up and unfortunately arrived 20 minutes late. She also provided us with a map that helped us navigate the trails. Some parts of the trails are uphill and a bit rough, so make sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Most of the trails are sheltered by trees, which is wonderful on a hot day. If you are planning to explore the trails rather than just relax at the pond, I would recommend booking at least 90 minutes so that you can do a complete loop, make the most of the beautiful forest, and still have time for your pup to splash around at the end!

Very clean, beautiful spot to take dogs. A good place to play ball, go on a walk or play in the water. Host is very accommodating!!

Beautiful drive, super friendly host! My dogs absolutely LOVED it. The pond was soooo nice for the dogs. Definitely recommend and worth the drive if your dog loves the water! Will be coming back to this spot!!
