55This spot was amazing! My pups had the best time swimming. I’m always nervous to have my dogs unleashed in areas that aren’t fenced but this spot was secluded, we didn’t hear other dogs or people the whole time when we were down at the river. Emmily B.

We even saw a family of geese floating along the river. The property is a dream, easily accessible and clear directions (the map in the photos is so helpful) we didn’t take advantage of the other areas available to us, pretty much spent the entire 1.5hr on the river. I finally found our PERFECT SniffSpot. My cattle dogs love to swim and fetch sticks, the water is calm and flows at the perfect speed! Making it a safe place for deep water swim sessions. We even saw a family of geese floating along the river. 55Nice spot. It was great to see my girl navigating the rocky river bed (on leash) like a champ. I didn’t feel 100% sure about letting my good girl off leash on our first visit. I thought best to learn the area better first. The fully fenced area was a welcome, off leash, place to play. Amelia L.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
