55This Sniffspot is beautiful! My dogs aren’t the agility types, but the other area was great for them. There are several different places for humans to hang out, rocks for dogs to hop up on, and lots of trees to sniff. It was about an hour drive for us to get there, but totally worth it!Victoria P.

55What an amazing place! It's set up wonderfully for the dogs to enjoy themselves and explore. The agility field is fantastic with so many obstacles - and the forested area is beautiful. It's so lovely to have toys, seating for the humans, water, wifi and access to a toilet. They've really gone above and beyond with this sniffspot! The dogs loved it!
It may be worth noting that the forested area is quite steep, so it may not be suitable for older pups with mobility issues. Not a negative, just worth knowing! There's plenty of space for them to explore still in the agility field and at the top of the forested area! Fern C.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
