Make sure you have good leashes with a good grip for the walk past the horses if you're going back into the forest area and have energetic dogs..the white horse seems to enjoy seeing new people/dogs. The back of the property is well marked so I knew when to turn around, and there were nice areas to walk in the back. I let the dogs run around the fenced yard to cool down and I got some great pictures! Will definitely be back ☺️Ivy E.

The host has thoughtful touches everywhere including: chairs placed pond side, disposal buckets/ trash cans frequently around the path with doggie bags attached, a table with chairs on the clearing at the top of the path with water and bowls for some much needed hydration after all the running and sniffing. It is clear the host wants to make your puppy, but also your visit as enjoyable as possible. Some things to consider: go ahead and park as soon as you turn off the main road. The path is definitely not meant for cars even if it looks like it; there is a good amount of elevation on the trail to get to the upper landing (which my fur-boy and I loved!), but you can also stick to the more level path that runs along the pond; this place is doggie heaven if you have a pup that likes to fetch sticks! There are lots of them and plenty of room to chase them. The host is also very responsive if needed.Overall, I would highly recommend. Dana J.

55This is an absolutely beautiful place. Zaldrizes loved it. We especially were thankful for the benches as were are far more out of shape than we thought. 😅 Despite not being fenced it felt very secure for some offlead fun for our boy. We will be back. ❤️Crystal G.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
