55This is a very nice Sniffspot ‘to be’. A sunny, grassy area to play and a shady area, both by the river. There is not much to walk around, but the river is the outstanding feature at this spot. Today the water was fast and high enough that my 40 pound dog was in up to the shoulders right away. Therefore I chose to keep him on the long leash, which diminished our enjoyment a bit for this visit. I would love to visit again when the water is lower, sit on the bench and watch my dog do his thing.

Then just turn to your left (I’m directionally challenged) and go past the wood piles. There’s a nice path going down. Ronnie is not much of a swimmer (I am not giving up hope) but she had a ton of fun roaming around and hunting for chippies. The current looked a bit strong but not too bad.
