Come and enjoy our own private 3plus acres of wooded with some open space and trails. Fully fenced in and secure. So much space for your fur babies to run and explore. No need to stress with other dogs that may be reactive. Or maybe your pup doesn’t play well with others and prefers their own space. Our private dog park is for you. This space is amazing. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Please pick up after your dog. I am finding a crazy amount of poop left behind. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.

Fencing is chicken wire / hog paneling with a utility gate entry. Two people per dog are allowed. If you would like to bring additional people, please add on a Pawty Package. I am the proud mama of two fearful and reactive dogs and work as a caregiver specializing in special needs animals and dogs with special behavior cases, esp. fear-based aggression. We built this yard specifically for fence jumpers and dogs that need and deserve a quiet and private space to play and feel safe. Our spot’s entrance is remotely controlled, allowing us to ensure there is zero risk of anyone entering the yard during your visit. We believe our guests deserve security and privacy, and will never enter the yard unless you have specifically requested that we do (i.e. if there is an emergency and you have expressly asked me to come out to the yard and help you). Our yard is spacious, wooded, and green with full 8ft privacy fencing including inwardly-angled fence extenders. Doggie extras: get ready for wooded trails, “barkour” obstacles, the perfect grassy bowl for fetch, agility jumps and tunnels, a tennis ball bit, splash pool in the summer, and so much more. A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. We have some dog toys as well that can be used during the use of the yard. In the summer, we can set up a kiddie pool for your dog to splash in. Relax in comfy chairs on the patio or under the NEW! pergola while your pups play. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. The area behind the house is quiet and peaceful and spacious. There is Chuck sticks and frisbees, but you have to bring your own balls. I always provide freshwater and dog treats and there are chairs for people to sit while their dogs run around. Also the home of Critterville self pet wash, if the dog gets stinky after it runs around it can get a warm bath before it goes home if the pet wash is available at that time. There is a sign to the left of the garage door that says Sniff Spot park here you can walk around the left side of the house and enter the backyard from that gate. Follow the signs.

There is a small gap (~6 inches) between the ground and the fence in a few spots. This isn’t an issue for the majority of pups, but FYI if your dog is small and likes to escape.

I have a double lot in Minneapolis. The yard sits on the empty second lot. We are very close to the North Loop in a good neighborhood. Fully enclosed yard via wooden privacy fence. There is a chain link fence along the side facing the street. We are up on a hill from the street, which provides privacy from people walking by. Street parking is no problem on this block, but 14th street (the closest cross street) is always wide open. We use this yard to host entertainment events periodically during the summer so we have plenty of lawn chairs and a new fire pit that can be used. I’m new at this, so I’ll take any suggestions on how to improve the experience. Please notify me of any special requests upon registration, and I will do what I can to accommodate.

My backyard offers 2 acres of fully fenced forested area with over 50 trees within that area! We keep a trail mowed that loops down into the bottom of the yard so you have a comfortable walking trail and your 4 legged friends can use it as a racetrack! Tons of smells to sniff and ample room for zoomies! Chickens will always be secured in their predator proof coop and run. There are toys, a garbage can, a dog bowl, and extra poop bags on the patio just before the wooden stairs. Please feel free to park in the driveway on the right side of the garage!

All woods, no lawn. For dogs who like to explore and sniff among the trees. Walk the trail or watch from the elevated deck. Great place for a fenced-in romp through pesticide-free nature. Visibility is limited by seasonal foliage, and the back 30 feet of the yard is a bit of a bramble, but most of the woods has a low groundcover. Possible fauna sightings include squirrels, rabbits, turkeys, deer, songbirds, and native mosquitos. Water dish available plus a pitcher of water with advanced notice. Last-minute bookings should plan to bring water just in case, as we've turned off the hose for the season. Off-street parking in the driveway turnaround. The path around the house to access the yard is uneven and requires climbing several steps. It may be difficult for those with mobility issues and we recommend wearing shoes/boots.
