55My 3 dogs and I had a wonderful time enjoying our first Sniff Spot experience. This is a great private wooded location. A nice path down to the fenced yard. There is a picnic table that bad a beautiful flower arrangement. Poop bags, treats and fresh water were provided as well as a small pool which all of my dogs thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back. Thank you Ed. Sue T.

55Today was our first visit, really nice setup away from the house. We had everything we needed, appreciate the nice picnic table. We’ve not hiked this summer because Jethro caused me to tear my MCL, it was nice for him and me to feel like we were! Lots of natural items for him to climb on, jump over, LOTS of sniffing opportunities. There was a nice pile of debarked good throwing sticks ! There were not enough bugs to even mention at 4. We had a great time and look forward to a return trip. Cynthia T.

55Loved it!! So peaceful, serene and quiet. Sights, smells and sounds of nature all around. My dog loved hearing the squirrels and chipmunks rustling in the brush around the enclosure and I loved listening to the birds. The perfect place for my dog to get enrichment and for me to unwind. April B.

55Absolutely our favorite Sniffspot yet! Our 3 dogs loved this spot, as did we. Ed was a great communicator and respected our wishes of not coming out during our visit to say hi. (as our dog is fearful of men sometimes) He provided water, treats and toys for the pups. We loved the hammock and plenty of space to sit. We will definitely be back! Marissa D.

55We had such a fun time! One of the best Sniffspots we’ve been to. We drove an hour to come here and it was 100% worth it. Very clean with plenty of room to run and sniff. Our young border collie had a blast. The space was well-maintained with all the conveniences you could ask for. Beautiful and scenic clearing within the wooded area adjacent to the home, fully fenced and secure. Parking was easy and well-marked. Thank you, Ed!Danielle L.

FAQ about our Franklin dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Franklin area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 33 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 7 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
