The acre-sized front yard is unfenced with a nice long driveway and plenty of natural woods to tromp in if desired. A leash is recommended due to recurring traffic on the nearby road. Fredericksburg Dog Park at Kenmore Park is a fully fenced enclosure located at 1438 Kenmore Ave in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Only dogs with City of Fredericksburg registration, current rabies vaccination tags, and up to date vaccinations are allowed. The park is limited to 20 canines at a time and has strict rules in place, such as no puppies under four months old, no female dogs in heat, and leashing dogs when entering or exiting the park. Handlers are responsible for controlling their dogs, disposing of waste, and correcting any damage done. The park has amenities like a swimming pool and is open daily, closed dusk to dawn, all year long. Visitors use the park at their own risk, and the City of Fredericksburg is not liable for any injuries or damages. Contact information for the park can be found on their website.

On the property their are goats and chickens for your entertainment, however they are safely fenced behind a 6 foot fence in their own play area. Offering our nice fully fenced in (chain-link) back yard for your furry family! Our backyard backs straight up to the woods so if you come early morning or in the late evening you may spot a deer as we have before! Early mornings or later afternoons are best if you want to avoid the strength of the sun. We have a canopy we can setup for some shade if you want to sit for a bit. Easy, private access to backyard via driveway. Pull up or back your car up straight to the gate, open it up and you're right in the backyard. By default we will let you be alone during your stay however we are usually home so if you want or prefer to have someone to chit-chat with we can do that a bit too. Neither neighbor to the left or right have dogs. The neighbor to the right has a privacy fence so he is not visible from the backyard. The neighbor to the left is seldom seen. Please clean up any poop from your furry friend. There is a black trash can on the driveway that you are welcome to use.

Willow Tree Yard

Let your dog run free in our backyard that has a wooden privacy fence. They can also play or lounge under the shade of our large weeping willow tree. The lower deck has 3 lawn chairs, and the upper deck (accessible via stairs in the backyard) has 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table with 4 chairs. Use of shed in backyard is not an option (it will be locked). There is easy free street parking in our cul-de-sac. If your dog (or child) wants to use the toddler slide, feel free to pull it out onto the grass. If you would like me to make the box of children's toys available during your visit (for no extra charge), please select that option in the Extras section of your reservation. Note 1: When walking between your vehicle and the gate to our backyard, there may sometimes be other people or dogs on the street/sidewalk or in their front yards. Or there may sometimes be someone from our household leaving or arriving home (which involves walking between the front door and a car in our driveway). So please keep your dog on leash until you are inside the backyard with the gate closed (per standard SniffSpot rules). Note 2: As of November 14, our outdoor water faucets have been winterized to prevent frozen pipes. So, one free bottle of water will be provided per reservation. We will turn the faucets back on in the Spring. Note 3: If you would like to reserve a particular day/time that is not currently shown as available (especially if it is more than 30 days from now), please send me (the host) a chat message to find out if I can make it available for you.
