There is a table and chairs with an umbrella for use, as well as a large hammock that is shaded in the afternoons. The umbrella and hammock are unavailable during the winter months.

Most dogs also love seeing the cows across the street, and going in between the shady and sunny spots. Nice for humans too – it feels rural, but it’s just outside of town. The grass natural prairie type grass with some weeds. I do pull all thorny type weeds so there should be no sticker burs, goat heads or foxtails. Please enter through south fence (large brown gate). My fence is a three-rail, welded, pipe fence because I have horses. I have a large pasture on the south side where dogs could play with ease. I do have prairie dogs and cotton tail rabbits on my property so prey driven dogs will be stimulated! If you’d like a mile walk to the back of the property I can lock the horses up. You will need to open a second gate to continue west. There is a very large pond just past the gate to the right. The pond dries out in the fall and fills up in the spring. You’re are welcome to let your dogs explore it. However, they will get muddy feet when it’s holding water. My neighbor just to the south has a fence made of trees right up against my fence. At the end of the property, you may continue on (north) for a longer walk. You will enjoy a quiet, peaceful walk with your dog/dogs. We do have coyotes in the area so be aware.

Organic herb & lavender farm with fenced in pasture for your dog. Just north of Longmont but you will feel like you are miles away. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Longs and Meeker Peaks while your dog runs like it was meant to do. The entire property is 10 acres and the sniffspot area is 6.5 acres. Also have a smaller enclosure that can be used for training,new dog intros, dog birthday parties. You may see us working in our lavender fields while you are here. There had been a few horses and cows in the pasture before but they are gone now. Consider booking for half an hour on hot summer days. Feel free to bring a beverage and a picnic blanket and watch the sunset behind the mountains (book the last slot of the day to watch the sunset).

The screened in patio has two sofas and a table with 4 chairs for your relaxation or work needs. A sprinkler if your dog is a fan can be provided. There are some Russian Olive Trees on the South side of the Park that provide wonderful shade, as well as a cottonwood near the North side, providing even more shade. Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park The Spot: Over 1 acre of fully fenced (6' chain link) field area with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is a packed sandy soil with natural vegetation that is mostly dry from the summer heat. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. While my field area is strictly for the dogs, there is a horse in a corral area next to the dog field. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. Neither the horse nor the chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. Sniffin' Hours are: 8:30 am -6:00 pm every day of the week. You may reserve time up to 14 days in advance. NOTE: I am in the process of renovating the old horse stall and roofs on all of the buildings will be replaced in November. This work will require occasional daily closings. You may also see myself and/or my handyman working in the horse corral area. At no time will we be in the dog field during your visit. Thanks for understanding. Convenient location on the frontage road of E Mulberry St near I-25. Let your pups stretch their legs with the large fenced yard. Relax on the chairs provided. Waste bags are provided. Bring your own water bowl and water, toys, and anything else your dog or dogs might enjoy! A few notes. If your dog or dogs are super reactive to loud noise, other people, or other animals, this may not be the best location for them, the area is business/industrial and near a major road. It is possible that the smallest of dogs, diggers, and jumpers may find ways through the fence, please inspect the fence before letting your pups loose. For mornings and evenings during the summer months, you may want to consider wearing longer clothes and bringing bug spray for mosquitos.

This property is not fenced in, so your pup must be obedient for safety reasons :) Feel free to park anywhere in the driveway (just please don’t block the garage). My land boundary includes up to the white fence to the North, to route 402 on the South, and up to the private road on the West side of the property. I particularly love the evening hours here; sunsets can be stunning! Depending where you are on the property, you will be treated with views of the foothills and Long’s peak!
