55BEST SNIFFSPOT EVER! You can tell the hosts here really care about the dogs having fun. There was even a sign with the dog’s name to greet them! Plenty of toys and agility equipment. There was water for the dogs, bug spray for humans (which really came in handy- thank you!) and several sitting areas around the site to observe the pups and relax. There were two poop scoop stations as well. Plenty of shaded areas. I’m sure I’m forgetting something. About 6 miles off the beaten path but worth the drive. We brought our pack of 4: 2 senior and 2 young pups and there was something for everyone. We opted for the kiddie pool so the dogs could cool off (and drink) between romps. The host thought everything to make Green Gate Haven an idyllic spot for dogs and their people and went out of their way to double check the gate and fencing was Doxie proof! We all loved it and will be back!

First time visiting this spot. The location was easy to find. No issues with parking. The spot was very clean. Had plenty of water for my 2 dogs. Plenty!!! Green Gate Haven was amazing! It had a huge outdoor play area that was so well maintained and supplied many fun toys and agility obstacles (and multiple drinking fountains for the dogs). Super easy to find. This was our first Sniff Spot and this place set the bar very high. We had so much fun playing with our puppy here and had so much peace of mind in a safe, secure area. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
