55Worth it! Our family and dogs met up at this gorgeous sniff spot. It was perfect! Our 2 Aussies had a blast running around in between all the trees and trails! We will be visiting this wondrous sniff spot again if possible.
Lisa, the hostess, is very kind! The view is beautiful! Nothing but nature in sight. There are plenty of little areas with water for the dogs to hydrate throughout the property trails. Lots of accomodations for visitors have and are still being made! Plenty to see and do! 1 hour is not enough time to thoroughly enjoy the property. I highly suggest booking extra time!
Lisa gave us the brilliant idea to ping our car's location prior to exploring. So glad she did as I have a terrible sense of direction! Most of the trails are clearly marked. As is the "Dog Bath" in one of the trails. Very cute and useful for us on a hot day!
Thank you, Lisa! Our visit was a memorable one!Sarai C.

55Our first visit to this side and we were skeptical of the size difference between listings at first, this spot is well worth it! The dogs give it their all in the first mile of well marked and maintained trails. So many amazing views and wildlife to see. Karlie T.

55My dogs loved the trails and the creek! We took the longer hike to McKay creek. I was glad to be wearing hiking shoes and would bring more water for the hike next time. The trail is mostly covered, and steep. We'll be back!
There are 4+ miles of gravel roads leading to the property which were very dusty on a hot summer day and the few people on the road were driving like maniacs.Diana H.

55What an amazing place this is!. My Frenchies were in heaven. They spent the first 10 minutes getting all their zoomies out. I know we've only begun to explore this place. It's so big and so many trails. I'm sure we'll be going back again and again. Beautiful viewpoints as well! Angela R.

55My dog and I had a great time at this Sniffspot! The trails were fantastic and offered plenty of shade on a warm day, which was a huge plus. It was nice that while most of the small creeks are dry at this point, McKay Creek had lots of water for my dog to cool off and play in. We even got lucky and saw an owl during our visit! Great time all around. We'll definitely be back! 🦉Jenny & Eric V.

55such an adventurous sniff spot! It feels like miles of trails and plenty of water spots for the pup especially one big pool one!! This gives me the absolute feeling of going on a true hike with my pup and I think she also feels that way too. some spots are very steep and you need to be careful but as long as you take it slow, you should have as much fun as we did!!! This time around we saw a couple of deer which was so beautiful. I cannot wait to come back soon. Thank you, sniff spotters for the awesome experience. 😀Meliza Y.

55McKay Creek was awesome! Our dogs had a wonderful time in the water and on the trail. We booked for 2 hours, which was a good move as there is a lot of ground to cover. Only thing we will do differently is bring hiking shoes! The trails are serious hiking trails with a lot of incline.Pamela C.

FAQ About North Plains Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the North Plains area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
