Craig is a beyond a phenomal host. He and his two Rotts stayed with us for playdates - a full 2 hours in the rain. Such hospitality and unexpected turn of event. The spot is perfect for swimming with big beautiful creek and Craig offered to teach my pup to swim when water gets warmer and low later in the Spring. Craig mentioned a place to hike so we will have to check that out next time. Note, there’s a camper on site in the field but was told it only happens on weekends. They have dogs, so if your dog is reactive, drive your SUV or truck to the creek on a muddy path. Which is a good .2 miles from his house to the creek. My pups and I look forward to coming again and socializing with his dogs.

My dogs loved this sniffspot! Miss Molli loved the “canoe pool” and Ella-girl had a great time just rolling around. Molli did spot the horses, and I was worried about her going under the old gate that looks like it leads to their pin, but she’s very well trained with “leave it” (she has such a high prey drive that “leave it” is a necessity) but I just kept her away from that area and didn’t let her try to go under. Also, wasn’t sure how to latch the entrance gate? But I’m creative, so I jerry rigged a way to keep it closed. I will admit, there could have been a latch that I didn’t see, but my dogs were so excited to get off leash and smell the smells, that I didn’t look too hard for a latch. Overall, we had a great time! Thank you 🥰

Our 2nd time here and we had a wonderful time!! The Barton’s are wonderful and very accommodating hosts! Get the SniffSpot pass, SO worth it and love that my girl and I can come and enjoy such a great place! *If your pup loves water and big sticks like mine does, come here! ☺️

Super friendly owner. He let us know that he didn't have another appointment lined up after us, so if we wanted to stay a bit longer, that would have been fine. This is the 2nd time using this spot, and def won't be the last.

Great spot, Woody loved all the sticks to chase & chew on! Quiet horses nearby, some barking dogs in the distance, moderately busy road next to the back fence. All great desensitizing noises for my shy guy!

Loved this Sniffspot! Easy to find, clear directions from the owner. We parked in front of the green cattle gate (where Sniffspot entrance is), furthest to the right. There were a few Sniffspot icons that were helpful in signaling we were at the right place. My three dogs had a blast, one especially with the kiddie pool. While one was having a great time making splashes obsessively, the other two wandered around the vast property, enjoying all the new smells and exploring the bushes, trees, and grass. There were a couple of horses two fields over (didn't even seem to know that we were there) that my dogs ignored because they were so busy having fun at the Sniffspot. Owners are very gracious and hospitable - told me to help myself to the apples, grapes, and pears, and even came out to hand me a towel to dry my dog off and new toys (asked if they could come out first and meet my dogs before doing so). Can't wait to come back!! Thank you for sharing your property!

We LOVE this field!! This is hands-down our favorite sniff spot. Having a huge piece of land available to let my GSP really run is such a treat! The property is flat, east to find, and overall just a wonderful spot!

Easy to find. Huge field. Not as muddy as other places despite the rain. There is no gate or fence at the entry point so we walked our dogs in on leash and then there was plenty to do far from the road. The pups loved it, and found a wooded water spot at the back of the property. Would be a great place to have social distance puppy play dates.

This is a great space. We met the owners before visiting with our dog due to his reactivity to strangers. Owners were very flexible and kind in regards to my request. Jo showed us around the space, she is really sweet, and so welcoming. I loved our visit day with Devon. It was so nice to relax and let him explore and just have a carefree walk. Jo was great with communicating and directions to the property as well as where to park. I found this experience to be so joyful. I really appreciate her kindness, communication and freedom to roam. We have booked our next visit.

Attentive host! Great showing us the lay of the land. The horses were great distraction (no petting!) and curious. Our dogs have a great recall, but if your dog doesn’t there is a lot of flat land to run & run far. Easy to use long lines if needed. Can wait to go and play again!

This is such a great spot to take your dog to run and explore. There's so much space with clearly-marked fencing for you to play fetch or just run around and feel secure that your dog won't get loose. Jo and her husband were wonderful and met us to show us around the property and answer any questions. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic magical spot. Long grass for my pit bull to hop around like a bunny, lots of stinky muddy pits for my St. Bernard X to roll in, and river access for swimming! Really welcoming and kind homeowner showed me around. The spot is massive and super fun. Our hour flew by, and we will certainly be back. Thank you!

The field was just as described. My dog had a lot of fun running and sniffing in the tall grass. The ground was a bit bumpy, but good for free running off leash.
