Terrific time had by all the pups. River was running high after all of the rain but they still managed to swim a bit and splash around. Loved all of the trails and chances to explore. Came home with tired dogs and are already planning our next visit!

This spot was amazing. The drive was so worth it! The river was deeper than expected due to the rain but my heeler still had a ton of fun. It was like he had the woods all to himself!

Another happy dog and another happy day! This is gem to keep. Thank you Kira for making Blue's best birthday ever possible!! He had a blast again in his own private park!! We will definitely be back for some more wonderful memories to look forward to. 😊💙

Great place, easy to navigate. Creek was deep due to rain but the dog was still able to swim no problem! Had a great time!

Such a good spot! The current was a little heavy but still got some swimming in. Saw the chickens and they were nice, the gate was easy to get into!

Our dogs had a wonderful time! They ran through all the tall grass and both jumped in the river! The river was a little deeper than we expected but it was so beautiful! I get a little anxious when I can't see or hear them, but they came back from adventuring! Kira was communicative and gave very clear directions! We will definitely be back!

100/100 this is THE SPOT!!! We live an hour away but this is so worth the drive! This spot is unlike any other SniffSpot Ama and I have had the pleasure to visit where it was woods and a river all in one! It was so exciting to be able to feel so safe to let my big girl off leash to explore and feel like a free dog out in the wilderness. The path is super clear and we went at the 8-9am time slot and it was important to me for Ama to keep as cool as possible in this oppressive Florida heat, and it was perfectly shaded and cool under the tree cover and the bugs were very minimal! If you are at all concerned about the heat this summer, this is a great spot in the woods where the sun is pretty much blocked out 👌🏽 The river is so fun and there is a nice sandy bank for you and your dog to stand and enjoy the calming running water. The chickens were also very cute and overall we had truly a wonderful time! We will certainly be back! ☺️ I really recommend this spot!

Def my new favorite spot! Pups loved it and i enjoyed it too. very peaceful and relaxing. my boys loved sniffing around and exploring

Love this spot. Clean as expected; swings to sit on; fire pits; dog waste bin for easy clean up. Just a note of caution, (June 16) the river is high and running fast /strong current due to the recent rainfall. Fine for a strong swimmer but be careful if you have a small or weak swimmer. If we have a dry spell this will calm down and wasn't a problem for me and my "loves to swim" Pyr but may be worth mentioning now in the rainy season.

We loved this Sniffspot!!! It’s everything that my dog loves to do, walking off leash on a little trail and getting to have a dip in the river! The water was shallow enough that he didn’t have to swim but could still run around splash and lay in the water which was a great way for him to cool down from the Florida heat. The water was also very clear which is great so I wasn’t worried about any critters or gators that I wouldn’t be able to see in murky water. My dog is very friendly but can be selective with other dogs which is why I love Sniffspot. They do make you aware about the neighbors dogs running to the gate you enter through, so I was prepared for that. It wasn’t an issue for us my dog sat by my side while I unlocked the gate. But if you have a dog aggressive dog I would be very aware and cautious, there are 2 cute small dogs that come to greet you at the gate. They both came running up to us and were barking they were very close to us but did not actually come up to my dog to sniff or touch him, they also came to us at the gate when we were leaving. It wasn’t an issue for us but if you have a dog aggressive dog it may be an issue. But we had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back!! :)

Now this is a SniffSpot! I have three pittie mixes, one with poor recall and moderately reactive. It was so nice to feel safe enough to let them go totally free. Ive been to one other SniffSpot that was not safe and it’s taken me a year to give it another try. The water was flowing and so refreshing…too bad I couldn’t get mine to try it🤣. There are poop bags and plenty of shade. BUG SPRAY.

This was our second time visiting and it was amazing! My dog loves it here and I’m so happy I can bring her here to let loose and run off leash

I've gone in the rain and on sunny days; my puppy has a blast every time! He's started to dip into the creek recently, so that's been fun. A new doggy waste station has been added, which is such a nice detail!

LOVED this location and will definitely be back! Our dogs had the best time! There are many paths to explore and the dogs loved the river. Kira is so sweet and helpful.

My pupper loved this spot super secluded and the river makes it the best for those hot days!! River wasn't too strong so great for playing in and we didn't have to worry about our lil Jack Russell being whisped away. Safe of predators too🐊! Our girl had plenty of running space and hills to jump and dip into the river with! Totally recommend and we will return fs! It has easy access and it's a brisk with the lock code and instructions she sends you! Just book it, your pup will love you for it❤️

As always with our 4th visit to Sandy Bottom sniff spot was amazing!! Kira the host is so responsive and super happy to have us come and visit her property!! I wrote before in one of my other reviews about the neighbors dogs which can be a little over excited to greet you but the neighbors now have respectfully keep their dogs behind a fence which for my dog who is reactive a very helpful thing as we enter into the property!! I will always recommend Kira and Sandy Bottom!

An absolutely amazing spot!! The river was a blast and so cool on a hot day. The trails above were so fun to let Mags explore and sniff her heart out!! We loved playing fetch and running in the river. Shallow enough my girl could run most everywhere - she also was a little mountaineer climbing up the steeper embankments (other than the main - which is doable!). Could not recommend this place more for a fun time splashing and sniffing!

This place is so amazing! Ziggy had the best time, more fun than I would have imagined. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the good times!

Beautiful shallow river with sandy bottom that my dogs loved. It’s a great spot to come and cool off in the water. My dogs would have stayed in the river all day. Not a lot of walking trails but nice swings on the bank to watch the dogs play. Bring water shoes. It was exceptionally clean and there is garbage on the way out.
