55Visited today for the first time. There was a booking miscommunication about the space being available due to muddiness that we were disappointed about, but the host made it right.
We’ll be back when it’s warmer out as it’s a really nice big space with a pleasant view of the creek as well. Juliana T.

55My 70lb Labrador Retriever and I have enjoyed this spot quite a few times - the fenced yard is ample for long runs and ball play. And stocked with a variety of his favorites from Chuck It launchers and tennis balls to a selection of Jolly balls. We look forward to warmer weather to explore agility jumps. Julie S.

55As a pet care provider, I’m always on the lookout for safe, off-leash spaces where dogs can explore freely without the worry of encountering other pups. This SniffSpot exceeded my expectations!
The space is impressively large and thoughtfully equipped with great amenities like an A-frame, hurdles, and an abundance of balls—perfect for keeping an active pup entertained. I also appreciated the convenience of having poop bags and a trash can on-site.
What truly sets this spot apart, though, is its serene atmosphere. Nestled next to Rice Creek, it feels like a hidden sanctuary despite being near a busy road and a lightly-used path. The expansive, leaf-covered yard and stunning trees, adorned with mushrooms in their trunks, create a picturesque setting that invites relaxation and joy.
The reactive pup I cared for this weekend had the time of their life, running freely and confidently in this secure, fenced environment. Seeing their pure joy in such a peaceful space was heartwarming.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful haven for pups and their humans! This is a gem we’ll absolutely return to. 🌟🐾Drae S.

There was one place someone didn’t pick up their dog poop.
Otherwise, beautiful and serene. Thank you. Jill G.

55Very spacious with agility equipment and balls / toys to keep your dog entertained. It is near a highway and you can see the cars. There are multiple fences between you and cars so it’s safe but they can still be heard/ seen. I only mention this because cars make my dog go crazy and I know he’s not the only one!! Super fun spot! FAQ About Fridley Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 2% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Fridley area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 240 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 436 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
