3 acres of full fenced area that can be closed off into separate areas (ie: main yard around the house, side yard, and lower pasture). There are cut and maintained trails in the lower pasture and then many smaller trail systems created by the deers and the dogs. In the summer it is buggy- particularly in the wooded area. There is also an additional acre-ish in the “arena” that your welcome to explore, however it is partially/poorly fenced and it is connected to the area where the goat pasture is, so if your dog has poor recall or issues with livestock it would be best to keep them on a long line if your going out there.

The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

We keep the trails and orchard mowed for walking, but your dog will have ample woods, puddles, and other adventures at their disposal! Since we live in the woods, we occasionally have trees fall down on our 5 foot welded wire fence. Please be mindful if your dog is an exit seeker, although we walk the fence and mend any spots we see often. For SPRING/SUMMER months, tics and mosquitos are around. We do not spray our land, so make sure you and your pup have the protection you need. In summer mosquitos are often worse near dawn and at dusk, especially in thicker parts of the woods, and less so in the backyard and orchard areas. In the winter, we snowmobile our trails to keep them walkable! There may be slippery spots here and there, so prepare accordingly! Be sure to look ahead at the roads on MN 511 in case of winter weather.

Quiet street in pleasant neighborhood just off 694 and Silver Lake Road. Fully fenced and easy access from the street. Relax near the "dog" pool while your dog explores the yard for new and interesting smells. Mostly open yard with a path through a woodsy pollinator area in back. Kiddie pool and hose available in summer, plus a tiny inground pond for cooling off. What the yard lacks in a aesthetics it makes up for in smells.
