55What an amazing sniff spot where my pup could explore and get her zoomies out. She was so excited 🥹 I was worried I would get lost but the trail is marked very well and the host gave me great directions to parking area. Will deff be back. I walked about 1 mile total through the trail.

55This sniffspot has it all! Well marked, cleared, trails with the ability to go off trail should you choose. A large creek with clean water runs through a large part of the orange and pink trails. Be prepared that it is a lot of uphill hiking for the humans, wear good shoes! There was some muddy spots on the trails down by the creek as well if you have a dog who loves mud like we do. We kept our dog on a 50ft lead and was just fine on the trails since they are cleared. Lots of shade in the woods and sun in the field. Goats are tucked away on the opposite side of the parking if you feel the need to keep your pup away from them. Mary Lou provided all the information we could need, as well as a detailed map! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
